By accessing or using AfricaShowAm (africashowam.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and businesses listed on AfricaShowAm.
AfricaShowAm is a pan-African business directory operated by AfricaShowAm Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17250990). Registered office: 15 Linz Road, Newport, NP19 4EU. The platform allows African businesses on the continent and in the diaspora to list their services and be discovered by customers worldwide. We do not act as an agent, broker, or intermediary between businesses and customers. Any transactions or arrangements made between a listed business and a customer are solely between those parties.
When you submit a business listing, you confirm that: all information provided is accurate and not misleading, you are authorised to represent the business, the business is legitimate and operates legally in its country, you own or have permission to use any content you submit, and the listing does not violate any applicable laws. AfricaShowAm reserves the right to approve, reject, remove or modify any listing at our sole discretion, without notice and without liability.
A basic listing on AfricaShowAm is free and remains free indefinitely, this does not expire or convert to a paid plan automatically. Our first 500 Founding Members received a permanent badge and a 6 month trial of paid Starter features; at the end of that 6 months, the listing automatically reverts to the Free plan, the permanent badge is unaffected. That programme is now closed to new listings. Optional paid plans (Starter, Growth, Premium, Enterprise) are available for businesses who want additional features, and are billed only if you actively request and agree to one, we will never charge you without your prior agreement.
You must not submit listings or content that: is false, misleading or deceptive, infringes any intellectual property rights, contains offensive, discriminatory or illegal material, promotes violence, exploitation, or harm to any person, violates the rights of any third party, or constitutes spam or unsolicited communications. Violation of these rules will result in immediate removal of your listing and may be reported to relevant authorities.
AfricaShowAm and all content, features, and functionality on the platform, including the logo, design, text, and graphics, are owned by AfricaShowAm and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission. By submitting content to AfricaShowAm, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform and in our marketing materials.
AfricaShowAm is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listings or information on the platform. We do not verify the legitimacy of every listed business and are not responsible for any dealings between users and listed businesses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AfricaShowAm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of AfricaShowAm shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Your continued use of AfricaShowAm after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
